What is AI course creation?

AI course creation is the process of turning a body of source material — notes, slides, syllabi, PDFs, lecture transcripts — into a structured video course through a four-stage pipeline: outline → script → render → export. Why it matters — accreditation reviewers (CME, SCORM-LMS auditors, IB / AP boards) audit Bloom's progression. The tagging is visible in your outline, not buried.

Source-binding

Every chapter the AI proposes is anchored to a specific span in your source document. Reject a chapter and the corresponding source span is excluded from all later stages — no "creative" filling-in from training data.

Why it matters — for HIPAA / OSHA / IGCSE-style accuracy work, "where did this fact come from" is the core audit question. Source-binding answers it before stage 2 starts.

Voice & pacing

Tone & reading level

Pick a tone profile (formal academic / conversational tutor / clinical SOP / executive briefing) and a target reading level. Stage 2 rewrites the narration to match — same source facts, different voice.

Used by — IGCSE tutors lock "tutor" tone, FDNY trainers lock "drill instructor" tone, bilingual SOP authors lock "warehouse-floor" reading level.

Per-lesson length budget

Set a target duration per lesson (e.g. 4–6 min for microlearning, 12–15 min for IB DP, 25–30 min for university lecture series). Stage 2 plans script density and visual count to land inside the budget.

Why it matters — Udemy/Teachable completion rates collapse past 18 min. The budget is part of the workflow, not an afterthought.
